Beith (ב) means "house" and its shape resembles a dwelling open on one side. It signifies a container for divine energy, the universe itself as a home for God's presence, and the foundation of all building. As the first letter of the Torah ("Bereshit..."), it represents the beginning of manifestation. Metaphysically, Bet teaches us about creating a sacred vessel within ourselves for esoteric knowledge and establishing a stable foundation for our spiritual awakening and personal growth.
